I had a local leather maker make me a couple of holsters for my STACCATO P 4.14 2011. He made a Rodisan style, and a Bruce Nelson Combat style and a mag carrier. I had sent him my Thad Rybca Rhodesian and Bruce Nelson Combat style holsters a while back so he could study them, he made me a High Ride Rodisan Holster for my two Wilson CQBE's and it turned out good. I asked him about making me a couple for my Staccato P and he went and ordered the mold for it and built these two styles for me. They are made for a 1.5" belt and done in medium brown color. The Rodisan one looks good and fits perfectly, as does the Bruce Nelson Combat style which is my favorite and the one I'll use the most. I'm leaving the gun in it to break it in and after a day so far it's working in pretty good. I'll post some reviews once I get it broken in to the gun but so far they got good retention, maybe a little bit more than usual but they will break in with use. Here are some pics of them, give me your opinions on what you think of them. Thanks 20200801_071151.jpg 20200801_071036.jpg 20200801_071048.jpg 20200801_070937.jpg 20200801_071007.jpg

Thanks, he made the mag carrier from a couple of pics, it's not as snug as I would like it so I'm going to send him my magazine to make me another one, I didn't send him one to copy so he told me if it wasn't right just to send him one of my mags and he would make it again. He didn't do to bad for just having pics and some measurements that I emailed him.

Very nicely done. Is he just doing it as a hobby?

No he does it as a side business, I can PM you his info. He's made several leather knife sheaths for me, you can see the latest one he made me in the Cutting Edge section look at the one titled Bowie style under my sig.

    Nice work.

Comment, not criticism: Most Rhodesians have their belt-loop double-stitched.

Thanks for the lesson. As far as stitching goes I could care less.

    Nice leather!
Thank you for naming it correctly “Bruce Nelson Combat Style”

He told me that he didn't want to copy them down to the finest detail, so he put his own style into making them, I think he did a great job.

I like his take on the Rhodesian holster.
