welcome aboard from east Missouri!
Welcome from Michigan !
Welcome from an hour or two east.
Man I can remember when Crosby Stills and Nash did a free concert in SF with Jefferson Airplane in 69.
Man I hope you folks escape before it gets any worse. I still have friends there ( LA Shelby Club) and I get all the crazy news. Most of my friends have long since bailed too.
I attended a few free concerts in Golden Gate Park, myself! Sad to see Winterland demo’d and Condos erected...
Winterland (the corner of Post & Steiner) before and after. A lot of great memories, for sure...
I knew Rick Griffin down in San Clemente. Brilliant artist and well known Filmore artist. Only one bad thing, they cooked Shark Steaks one day and I tried one. Boy did that make me sick.

Awesome! 74 was one of the best years for the Grateful Dead.
Welcome to the forum from NC.
Welcome from Pennsylvania!
Another welcome from Eastern Missouri!
We were lucky in LA. Tons of clubs with classic groups playing and in the late 60s/early 70s, there was the Shrine. Saw a ton of bands there including Big Brother before Joplin left. In the 60s, The Who at the Cheetah club.
PS there was also Laurel Canyon. The Mothers of Invention lived in the old Tom Mix house before it burnt down. Tons of talent came and went in and out of Laurel Canyon
Welcome from the beautiful PNW.
