I repurposed a set of grips I got from Zoid today and dressed the FX1

Oh!.... I should mention the great deal he gave me on this new tactical knife. $70 SHIPPED!! IMG_1817 (2).jpg

Yes, the knife thing was an attempt at humor. :roflmaro:

The grips are great. How do you like your FX1 ? I nearly bought one chambered in 38 super.

I haven't put a lot of rds thru it yet but in all honesty (not letting the wife hear this) I think I prefer my older Kobra Carry.

Ewe werent supposed to make that tacktical nife deal public. @tac45 had that one out on "loan" to me. I think I'd rather owe it to him than cheat him out of it, ya know what I mean. Those teeth . . . . . that smile . . . . .

Glad you got them in good order. Your IOU arrived today also . . . .

I got one of those knives from TTT. Cuts circles around the competition.

No it was definitely TTT. $19.99 and I got a second one free! No tax but shipping and handling was $72.50. I'm not sure what TTT stands for. It doesn't say in my catalog. I always assumed it was "That Tactical Thingy".

TTT's version is a knockoff of the HSN (Hemorrhoid Shopping Network) version.

    The HSN version went for 30 LPI serrations. Keeping with TTT's 90% off functionality, this model is only 3 LPI for maximum . . . something . . . yeah, that's right . . . . profit . . .

    Send cash . . . . .

The California version of that utensil has no serrations and is made of an environmentally friendly organic Nerf. It won't work for carving but you can use it as a drinking straw.

No sugar sodas over 8 oz.

The only materials we have in stock that meets those stringent environmental standards are pre-digested fibers from bovine excrement . . . .

Fortunately, a bountiful harvest of those can be collected from this thread . . . .

Nice pistol and grips! If you don’t mind me asking, why do you prefer your KC over the FX1? What is the FX1 chambered in? I have one coming in 9mm so I am curious about what other FX1 owners think about their pistols.

They are both chambered in .45 I think the KC bobtail fits my hand a little nicer and the FX snakeskin treatment is pretty aggressive. Combine that with the standard grips and its a harsh handful. Not that its a bad thing. I tamed that feel somewhat with the grips I just added, now I have to go shoot it and re-evaluate.

Zoid, are you saying we should add hemorrhoids to our catalog ?
We could hire your cousin Harvey as a model. !

Thank you for your input! This will be one of my home defense pistols so having an aggressive grip won't be an issue.
