Hey this is cool. Me and Blayglock the only Pa. guys?
Yeah, it is cool!
Pittsburgh here... South Hills.
I'm in Pitt as well. Cranberry.
Bac is from around Philly I think. Another new guy with the S&W E series is from PA as well.
I thought you were in the 'burgh... Hey, neighbor!
Sweet deal you put out on that Professional last week... It went fast.
Where do you shoot? Where do you buy guns?
If you were referring to me, I am about 4 miles away from the boarder behind the iron curtain in NY.
Central PA area here.
You should move 4 miles down the road.
I like that Strat on your website!
It's a 74 with kinman pickups in it. I'm not sure how into the kinmans I still am. I mostly play my Tele now anyway.
Kinmans are quiet,.......not sure if they have a lot of soul though.
My recently acquired CS '56 NOS Stratocaster is pure heaven!
That's exactly why I'm not as into them as I once was. I have JM Rolphs in my Tele. They sound great. He spent an hour on the phone with me when I was shopping for pickups. Great guy. He was playing a slew of unaffordable original esquires and whatnot. He knew his s**t. He was going into what the weight of the wood should be and was very detailed as to the specs to get the sound you are looking for. He makes pickups for Scotty Anderson.
I'm a hack at best,.......not even close to having enough talent for a Tele.
I have heard of JM Rolph,..... a friend on TDPRI has a set.
