Picked up my first Sig 1911 yesterday. She’s a beauty and was extremely easy on the wallet. Handles buttery smooth with extremely light recoil and reasonably tight 2” groupings at 5 yards.... :D

:oops::oops::oops: Duh!!!! "Quickly" saw the pic. and assumed it was .45.... Oh well, not the first time I embarrassed myself...... nor probably the last.

Mine is definitely NOT a .177 cal.

So quickly my tongue-in-cheek ruse was discovered by a keen eye ;) I picked up this true plinker as a garage range practice tool after checking out it’s specs on a realistic weight, action and field stripping. At only $100 with a bonus mag at Cabela’s, it was an easy buy to bridge the gap bridging my air gun collection with my 1911 addiction that began 6 months ago...

Yeah, you’re the guy I envy on having the real thing  My wife would string me up if I were to expend the amount of money required for the real thing...

ETA: On second thought.... now that she’s seen the BB gun, maybe she won’t be able to tell the difference if she see’s me cleaning the .45 version at the work bench...... hmmm...
