Bought this S&W MP R8 .357 revolver (8 shot, scandium frame), a couple of days ago. It has a C-More red dot sight mounted on top (which I won't keep on there) and came with a modified Galco holster. I traded a stainless Ruger 10/22 that had a heavy fluted barrel and Hogue stock for it plus $400.00.

I love my R8, it shoots like a champ and 8 rounds of 357 on tap is good if you’re humping in the hills or something. It’s actually lighter or feels lighter than my snubbie 627, but they both shoot great.

Eight rounds of PC-tuned goodness. My wife claimed my TRR8 for her nightstand gun.

It definitely makes it heavier. I don't plan on keeping it on there but I'm going to shoot it with it on there first at some left over pumpkins my wife painted for Halloween.:) If I do put a dot sight on there it will probably be a Trijicon RMR.

What holster are you using for it?
