I always wanted a Specialist in Duty Coat finish but this matt stainless is sure growing on me and it was a deal that I could not refuse. Gun looks new and only has 50 actual rounds thru it. I look forward to breaking her in slowly. My other Dan Weason’s are liking their new friend.

Very Nice, I have to acquire more DW 9mm's I only have the PM9 everything else is .45acp.. Been wanting a 9mm commander. I thought I wanted one of the new ECP's until I took a better look and realized they are tri-topped.. Just not my cup o tea..

Thanks! If you can find one you should consider a Valkerie Commander. The Valkerie Commander that I have is a 9mm and it is extremely light and thin making it possible to conceal and carry. It also is one hell of a shooter. I do not know why that series was discontinued as it was arguably DW’s most feature rich semi-custom production gun. I like the Valkerie Commander over the Valkerie as it has an extended grip of a full size, the regular Valkerie has an officer’s size frame. If you you ever held one of these you would be impressed. If you ever shot one in 9mm you would be amazed, super soft shooting and extremely accurate.

How do you like the thumb safety? Are you happy with how its blended to the frame?

While I don’t think it’s necessary for me to have a ambidextrous safety this one does not disappoint. Mine fits the frame nicely. The fit and finish is sweet but moreover, funtionality is exceptional. It is is very positive in it’s engagement with both sides having a solid solid feel with an audible click.
