Hi guys. Love 1911s. Had them since about '78 for local Bullseye club. Started with revolvers in same club in '75. Everyone had 38 1/2 oz revolvers for rimfire and centerfire stages. That is S&W model .22 and .38 Masterpieces. Once I started practicing with 1911 .45s, my club transitioned to PPC, which was limited to centerfire revolvers.

Welcome aboard from beautiful BF Egypt. We'll forgive your wheelgun use! ;)

Just kidding, plenty of wheelgun owners here including me.

Only Bullseye I shoot on rare occasion is with a Giles gun. I started IPSC in the 70s

Nevern did IPSC. Did some steel plate comp, ppc, and the Bullseye I started with. Wanted to do IDPA, but none of my clubs ever sponsored it. Prolly came along too late for me.

Never to late for IDPA, it's changed a lot but I'll be dammed if I'm going to run and gun with kids. I try to get to.them strictly to maintain a skill set of shooting under pressure.
