Anyone know of a source for nitride coated slim grip screws? The typical coating on most grips screws starts to rust after about a week of carry for me, and blued screws turn into a worn looking stainless. I've tried protective oils and waxes but nothing seems to work. I prefer the look of black screws over stainless on a non-stainless gun.

Not sure any screws are finished with a nitriding process as it is not suitable for certain geometries, especially long and thin, due to the risk of dimensional shifts. A vapor deposition finish might work but that finish needs lube as well.

Take standard screws and place them in coconut oil
Bake for a few hours at 200*
They won’t corrode
