Looks like we are getting close to "go time" on the orders for the No Name CCO project. For those who are on my list, we need to start thinking about putting the orders together, so please contact me. Alex and I also discussed some longer term future projects that will involve lightweight frames and maybe....just maybe, some sort of very limited edition Mastergrade Type Guncrafter Pistols. Do any of you guys have any interesting suggestions that you would like to see from Guncrafter down the road? I would love to hear some suggestions. Please keep in mind, the lightweight frame idea does not apply to the current CCO project, as these builds are getting ready to be started.....the lightweight frame option is something Alex may consider in the future. Any other ideas?

A 9mm CCO is on my list. Thinking Nighthawk or Wilson but would rather have Guncrafter. Lightweights don't interest me but a mastergrade would.

If they will do the 9mm, they would certainly do the .38 Super in a CCO. I would be all over that like a hobo on a ham sandwich!!! :whoo:

How many serious commits would we have for a 9mm/.38 Super CCO? I just talked to Alex again, and he wouldn't be opposed to doing something, but we would have to have more than one or two orders to make it happen. Can we say, 1911addicts group buy??? The .45 CCO project is ready to go, with production starting in the next month or so. Any small bore CCO would be a project that would be further out, but from the sounds of things, doable if the numbers are there. Maybe 10 units or so.....just like the .45 CCO. What do you guys think?

I don't think so, but it would never hurt to ask. If you did that, you would almost need to get it in the white and have it finished after golfballing. I would say for now, if it were to happen, it would be with the 15 lpi checkering. That is kind of a trademark of Alex's No Name line.

This is just in the talking stage right now. Before we do any additional projects, we have to get this first one off the ground. A small bore would be something down the road a bit. I am pretty sure if we generate a good amount of interest, Alex would be more inclined to do this as a future project. I have to keep in mind they are a small shop and still have their standard offerings to build. These side/limited run projects will be things we will try to fit in his production schedule as time permits. They will have to be a one at a time kind of deal, though.
