Normal Rifling for a Factory Stainless Barrel?

Hello there gunsmithing pros. This isn’t a 1911 but I figured I’d turn to my local experts. I recently purchased a new LTT 92 Elite from Langdon, and finally took it home. I cleaned and lubed the gun to prep for first range day, and checking the barrel I noticed one of the grooves has a chatter/pit mark down its entire length. Now I’m new to stainless barrels, is this a normal thing that should “shoot out” or a major QA miss by Beretta and Langdon?

Worth noting, they also ported the barrel which was another 8wk wait so a bit miffed if this has to be replaced now.

I sent them over, let’s see how LTT’s customer service is. I waited three months for this thing, this is a real bummer. Was supposed to be my IDPA competition rig too, and I can’t expect that will have positive impact on accuracy.

Maybe they’ll just ship me a replacement barrel.

Send photo's to Langdon and ask what's up.
Looks wrong in so many ways

If it was used I might say it's full of lead build up and needs cleaned
But you said you waited for porting so I'm thinking its a new gun

Chuck bet there's no lead buildup is there o_O I quoted your message and seeing it now in an edit but ... I hate this new version of the site.

A land is missing an edge and a groove is ate up from that corner dragging during rifling the barrel by the looks of it. Not kosher no matter your religion.

So here’s a strange one. I figured I’d see how it shoots, and bolster the case that the rifling is all jacked up. Took it to the range, cleaned it, still has that awful chatter the whole length of that groove…

…but, here’s a 15yd group on 1” squares:

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a barrel look this bad but shoot this well. Now I’m not sure if I even want to mess with it and replace the barrel. With my luck the next one will look perfect but shoot terribly.

Stumped.
