Get off my lawn...
Just an old Colt Government model chambered in 38 Super c. 1984. I purchased her used many years ago. It came with a second hard fit barrel (9mm) and Ed Brown bushing. I also have the original box, but she’s certainly no collector safe queen. She’s a very reliable Colt. John Harrison installed the gold bead front sight, and retro ‘U’ notched rear sight. A local Smith did the 20 lpi hand checkered front strap. Nothing too fancy, just a very faithful old Pony. She carries well in my Milt Sparks Criterion, and always goes bang. I primarily shoot her with the 38 Super barrel unless I’m shooting out in the country. Then I’ll slip in the 9mm barrel, when I’m not concerned with recovering my brass for reloading. Again nothing fancy, but she holds a Big place in my heart. Thanks for taking a peek!
