**Ok, no more dilemma-sold the CCO and confirmed the deal on the Valor-hopefully have it all wrapped by Saturday between coordinating everyones' schedules hahaha**

Well the CCO I recently got was strictly an impulse buy, hahaha-not like anyone here has ever done that!-but today I was made an amazing offer on a 2017 as new 5" stainless Valor with box etc.

The only way to get it is to sell off the CCO-I have another "small" 1911 for ccw use and just love 5" 1911s-my absolutely favorite pistol. Really torn over what to do. Going to sleep on it tonight. I don't want to put the Valor on a card and then wait for the CCO to sell, could take a while. Decisions, decisions.

Sell something else and keep the CCO.

Gotta have something of value. Kids, 401K, house, wife...

Hahahaha, I like how you think! Kids are grown, no wife, need the house and 401K. The only other items I have that would probably go quickly are some of my Smith revolvers and I refuse to part with any of them

Use the card, be disciplined until it's paid off. If you let the deal pass you will regret it always

Resale value on the CCO model isn't great, just be prepared for that.

What do you mean by that? I'm prepared to offer him tree fiddy for it. And that seems to be a more than fair price for me.

Keep the CCO, then PM me the details and contact info for the Valor. If it's truly an amazing deal I'll take and you won't be conflicted on your decision any longer.

You could always list your neighbor's car on Craigslist . . . .

Those folks are used to buying cars without titles . . . .

If you knew my neighbor you'd understand how tempting that is LOL.

You know me, offering solutions to imaginary problems.

I was extremely tempted to do something similar to this. A few years ago a family in our neighborhood moved and couldn't sell their house. They rented it, and the occupant had a junk car awkwardly parked in the street.

After being there for six months collecting leaves and trash underneath, I told my wife I could get it gone in one hour by listing it as FREE on Craigslist.

I think she told that to another neighbor because it disappeared the following week.

I limit myself to either saving up the cash, trading or selling other guns to feed the Addiction.

    What’s the dilemma?
Your not acting like a 1911 Addict here!
If you don’t get out the CC, we will have to put you on the highest level
    1911 addict probation. :bang:

    Actually, I admire your judgment.

Break out that CC and buy that Valor.... Then and only then if you some day need the money the CCO could be the first option to go.... Outside of that you'll always have one in da bank. We Addicts don't "chip". Full mainline with a full hand!

Well I’ve got a Les Baer Stinger so even though it’s steel it carries great plus a Springfield RO Elite Compact and a Wiley Clapp CCO-hmm, do I sense a trend haha.

Looks like the DW CCO might have found a new home, should know tomorrow. If so the Valor will be mine.

Hope it works out for you. Personally, I don't buy unless it fills a slot , prefer to trade, and most always sell something to buy another something.

True Addicts will always have a slot for another 1911. Especially if it’s a
    Stainless Valor.

If the Valor fills a void/ a want, need or spot. Go for it. It will figure out.

I can feel your pain? I was out and about earlier today stopped at the range/Local pushers shop ready to pull the trigger on a CZ - I’d been researching Etc etc, (P07) well I looked a little further in the case and there sits a used and mildly abused LB custom carry,
(it was a previous range rental) Well to simplify things the cash for the CZ and my AMX CC
Jumped out of my wallet to complete the purchase on the LB. The deal was to good to pass up.

Myself and this particular LB have history, it was the pistol that started my addiction to ^1911s.
I rented it a few times and put a couple rounds through it previously.

Just another enabler/1911 addict here trying to help out.
