Went to the range this morning and shot the smallest 25 yd 5 shot group I have ever shot with a open sight handgun. The gun was a 45 ACP Valor, the load was 185 Zero JHP, 4.2 grs of Bullseye, CCI large pistol primers in various cases. It was shot off bags, it was the first group shot with the Valor, the 4th group shot this morning. I know it was 50% skill and 50% luck, usually with this gun if I can shoot sub 2" groups I am happy. After the 3rd shot I knew it was one hole, I thought that would jinx it but it did not. The next group went in 1 5/8", which is still a great group.
Here is the pic, and that is 5 shots at a true 25 yrs.

Nice shooting. You know the old saying “if you did it once, you can do it again.”

At least you know what perfection looks like as you did it once.
