Ontario Pd will be getting issued Staccato XCs

I have been asking this question about the slide cuts like with the new heritage P, whats the point of the cuts?

I worry about the debris as well, never been a fan of slide windows on pistols, but if its anything like rifle testing I have seen, maybe the action of shooting the gun, blows out most debris anyways?

I heard Vegas PD was issuing Staccato’s too but not sure what model.
. If they are issuing these in Ontario I wonder why? Isn’t Canada a utopian paradise with no crime and restricted civilian access to handguns? Are they issuing ammo and evil hi cap magazines? If so the magazines alone will cause thousands of innocent deaths. I’d say Trudeau and his libtard lovers are pissed, if not is it only OK for the government but not for citizens whose money they stole to buy them. OMG Canada will fall to its knees as soon as they are delivered.

Sorry guys, couldn’t help asking 🤣

everyone, this is Ontario California

I speak from 40 years experience, as a LEO. You are so correct when saying “ there are plenty of officers who neglect these things”. Patrol officers live/work in and around nasty environments. You can’t stop to check your firearm 10 times a day. It’s usually checked the beginning of your tour and gets holstered until it’s needed or removed and wiped down, inspected at the end of your tour. Foreign Objects and Debris, FOD, have a way of showing up, whether on a flight line, driveway or your HOLSTER. Trust me, I’ve seen it first hand over the years.

I can live with the muzzle break, but the cuts are the deal breaker for me and should have been for those evaluating the guns, if they had any real life experience, which is what I find perplexing.
yea figured they could have made a version without the slide cuts, but they must have done enough testing to find out, it was a relative non issue, shooting it probably blows out any general debris.

as far as ontario california, that is in the inland empire, conservative part of the state, beautiful sunny weather, oceans and mountains not too far away, far cry from freezing Justin Castro led Canann - ada

California is probably the best state in America in terms of beauty, land mass, resources, food production, culture, etc , unfortunately it has been ruined by politicians that are not voted in, more like big gov mafia agenda (newsome / pelosis nephew)

there are more gun owners in California than the rest of the nation by far.

you can get everything in Cali that you can in conservative states outside suppressors.

it is still beautiful outside of the big cities (LA/SF etc) but that goes for everywhere, STL missouri / KC are the murder capitals of the US, in probably the most red gun friendly state there is, how about that?

every big city is trash, Baltimore, DC, Atlanta, NYC, Milwuakee, Houston, New Orleans, Memphis, Portland etc etc, it is an agenda not just a tribal - oo cali man bad, mid west man good, quite the contrary in my experience.

They got the government they voted for

Canadian men have always had low testosterone
they didint vote for nothing, its mafia, LA and Sacramento/ SF run the whole state, will happen to every state, look at MO with KC / STL and look at TN with Nashville.. this archaic rhetoric is old.

and their not using 1.5lb triggers, they are heavier and tuned for duty use safety, they clearly went through the safety measures and testing to trust it. they gave their officers the best option possible for performance advantage : Staccato XC + RMR HD + Surefire X300

I don’t have the funds to know about the XC but just looking at their website the XC seems twice the price of a P but maybe the XC doesn’t need any tweaking so they will be cost competitive.
its about performance, cost is irrelevant. XC is the most flat shooting handgun I have ever shot, feels like a .22
