I think its cool that they are entering the 1911 game but at that price point, I would go with Springfield or Colt. It will be interesting the quality of the fit and internals used.

$800 for a rather unexciting 1911. You can get the same features on a Rock Island for a few hundred dollars less. You know what I'm going to do? I'm going to contact them and ask them what makes this gun worth $800 when compared to others?

Hey now .o: ...I've had four RIA 1911s. Other than one which I sent back to get the sights readjusted they were all great guns. That one, along with the other three, all functioned and fired reliably. They're not a bad bang for the buck.

I like my Rocks just fine. For the money I'd likely select the CZ. But I would like to see one of the new PSAs.

Yep, seems a tough sell. I'd probably grab a Ruger for less money. But maybe it will be a good solid weapon. And maybe they will price it more competitvely once they have some inventory sit on the shelf a while.
