I don't know about the rest of you guys but my glass is full to the brim and then some with the Covid, with the Covid debates, who made mistakes, who didn't make any mistakes. Non medicos offering their expert advise. My butt is sore watching our President always shoving it up there with how he's smarter and righter than anyone else in the room.
I'm sick and tired of social distancing & masking up and watching the disgrace falling upon our country in Portland, St. Louis, Seattle and 12 other beautiful places that animals now free range.
This forum, the radio, the interweb in general, tops up my tank with discomfort and concern for our country every day and I know I ain't alone. And we'll never run out of ammo, we got Joe Biden to look forward to in the national debate, then there's always the election and the second wave of Covid to look forward to. We're all feeling it and it shows.

So in the spirit of that global socialist, George Orwell, who described what is happening now in his classics Animal Farm and 1984, I leave you with this lovely 4 minute video that maybe will offer you a break from fretting and hating and debating. I know I'm feeling sorry for myself, but I feel bad about you guys and the rest of our country for what we're going through. Apologies to those who've seen this before. I'm into ultra lights, I got a friend Nate Tufts, who at age 82 crashed one in the northern Maine woods a couple years ago, he spent 2 or maybe 3 months in the hospital before he went right back up there skimming the tree tops. Chapeau!

I am finding that weekly Trigger Therapy© at the Far West Texas Noble Pistolero and Loud Noise Spa and Country Club is not only expanding my mind, but reducing stress at the same time...

I'm spending more time with my .22 rifle shooting "long range" every other day in the afternoon to arrive in that same place. Can you get me a membership? Sounds a lot cooler than my desolate corner of the Mojave, private as it is.

That's not a chick, it's a Peace Officer, my daughter, and my son who recently got picked out of Police Academy for a job with DHS.

I for one honor all government pronouncements and edicts. As to Komrad George, he might have been okay to have a cerveza with:

“That rifle on the wall of the labourer's cottage or working class flat is the symbol of democracy. It is our job to see that it stays there.”

    ― George Orwell

peace officers can be chicks too no? :)
Thank her for me and my family for doing what is such a thankless job these days.

On your Op I hate to break it to you but there won’t be any debates between POTUS and Biden. The left is still working out the details on how they are gonna wiggle out of them but I have been saying it since last year before all this happened. NO WAY Biden will ever step foot on stage and debate anyone.

With today's technology there is no excuse for this. They can split the screen and one can be on the North Pole and One on the South Pole and it can look as though they're on the same stage. No reason to not debate other than fear of Trump.

My brother has lived in Tehachapi since the early 70s (He's a great guy, and closer to the forum norm politically, if that matters). Where in the mojave are you?

Also, that bird migration is top shelf, thanks for posting.

Of course they could. But even with an earpiece and a handler telling him what to do he won’t be able to keep up for 1-2 hours. His dementia will come thru. He has a better chance of winning if he stays in his basement. The left flat our will not let Biden debate Trump under any circumstances. They already said he won’t do it unless Trump releases his tax returns which we all know ain’t gonna happen just like the debates.

The OP referred to the "national debate" which is pretty different to Trump and Biden blustering and dodging questions.

If you mean debate between candidates for the POTUS than I’ll still say there won’t be any.

That's probably a winning bet, and yeah, I said "blustering and dodging questions" but that's what presidential election debates turn out to be, especially likely with these two.

    A voice of sanity.

The national debate I was speaking of is what the rest of you all have started.

I'm thinking (kinda scary, isn't it) that maybe you have to be on the mountain, or in the woods, and not watch much, if any news, to maintain a bit of sanity. If this is true, I too should be sane, but that's a matter for another time. Got to go, it's time for my pill.
