Every once in a while, if you look closely, your will begin to notice patterns in the chaos of this existence they call "life."

Repeating patterns in seemingly random images, fractals . . . . they are there, unnoticed, until they are seen. They are not dependant upon observation to exist. They are there for us to discover. Unlike the tree that falls in the forest. Does it make a sound if nothing is there to hear it?

Some call it karma, some call it deja vu, others, coincidence . . . .

These threads tie us together, our friends, family, they tie our experiences to memories and places, people, things . . . .

One never knows when one of these pattern threads will pop up.

Just this morning, one of these patterns revealed itself to me. I was getting dressed for work, putting on a particular shirt from a particular manufacturer that I like. It was made in Bangladesh by a company I tend to buy from more than any other company. It's hard to believe that I have never noticed this connection before, but that's the truth.

Notice the pattern? What patterns do you have in your life?

I have no desire to enter your parallel universe, but given the story line this is probably less of a stretch and more appropriate

    Great post Zoid!

I’ve always tried to pay attention to patterns in life and learn from them.

Currently I’m in an interesting place. I had my children a little later in life...I’m 37 with a 2.5 year old and a 4 month old. They’ve really changed the way I see things and made me very introspective.

I’ve always lead a pretty good life by my terms...live and let live etc. The kids have opened me up a bit to being more compassionate and understanding to those I don’t know or those I would have previously judged or written off based on my old philosophy of “buy the ticket, take the ride”.

Opening up more to others and trying to see their points of view more has really reinforced a pattern I’ve seen my whole life but sometimes ignored in pigheadedness...being kind is probably the best default when dealing with others.

If that were only the story . . . . too simple a solution, the basis goes deeper. This is just a connection, a thread that ties it together.

    It's like, Mandelbot meets Julia . . . . it's offspring is Zoid . . . . . .

The deeper you dig, the more complexity you find. It's too easy judging and relating to the surface persona. Complexity and chaotic order are a thing to behold.

    But then some are just azzholes . . . . . . .
