Picked up another TRP for my collection.

I picked up a Springfield TRP with a serrated slide top, new trigger, and ion bond. The Ion Bond is a very flat black compared to the shiny Armory Kote on my stock TRP. They both spent the day at the range and are still dirty. The picture of the end of the barrel is the only place where the ION Bond has started to wear.

I would really like to purchase me a TRP with a light rail right now but can't seem to find one for sale.

Great looking guns! Can you comment on the serrated top of the slide... does it reduce glare or make the sight picture any better?

Oh! Is it OK to have more than one TRP? If so, I guess I need to go shopping!

There is a bobtailed 4.25" operator and a 5" full length rail 9mm in classified, but no normal TRP, :(.

When I looked at that one the other day, it said sold just above the TRP, that is what got me interested in one!

You really can't go wrong with a TRP. It's a great high end production gun without the cost of a semi custom.

I can't say because I shot it in the shade. I've never had a problem without it though, however I'm sure it can't hurt.

    I like it!

My 1911 has the flattened and serrated slide top. Looking at photos, I wasn't sure if I would like it, aesthetically speaking. I've come to appreciate it, though. When indexing the gun, the lines draw my eyes more quickly to the front sight. I don't know if I would ever go out of my way to order a gun with the feature, but if it came with it, I wouldn't argue.
