Pics of a fairly uncommon Colt. Wish I had known her longer.

    This is a Colt model #01923E Government size Series 80 Enhanced. They were only made in 97 I believe, and Colt didn't produce a whole lot of them. If I had the funds to keep this gun I would have. I think it's absolutely beautiful. Rattles and all.

    Pretty cool, Jake. Sorry you had to let it go. Looks like it was a fine piece. I don't have much experience with the 9x23mm, but I've heard good things. It makes sense on paper in a lot of ways. :thumb:

    Sold it already. Unfortunately it's still in my safe and I swear I keep hearing it call my name. lol

    Do you have to reload for that, or can you get factory ammo for it?

    You can buy factory ammo. It's about $30 for 50rnds

    And I can't wait to get my greasy fingers on it to do what I do before it goes off to be engraved! LOL! And don't worry Jake, we will shoot it before letting it go off to it's new home! And we'll bill him for the ammo! (Just in case he's reading this. :eyebrows: )

    It's the same duckbill gs they still use. Had one on my 2011 production 1991

    That's what I heard. Joe says at least 2000 rounds for testing @$30/50rds = $1200 lol BTW guys. I would have liked to keep this gun but I'm using the money for a super duper new gun. So don't have any sympathy for me.... Really.
