Mine has been assembled but not test fired yet. I was too late asking for a custom serial but they did respond to my email about holding shipment till after the 22nd since my FFL is going on vacation next week.

It sometimes doesn't update. I've been at assembled for two weeks now and it hasn't been test fired. They did respond to my email last week to hold shipment till after the 22nd because I won't be home till after that (I'm about 150 miles from them and am my own FFL so I expect shipping to take a day)

Son’s Platypus has arrived. Fit and finish are excellent. It’s smooth. Trigger is 3lbs. Very very slight take-up before break.

Regular Glock + baseplates fit. Shield Arms +5 baseplates do not fit because of the pin. It hits the magwell.

I’ll shoot it Wednesday. Son can’t shoot it till Friday.

Quick update. Grip gets slippery after sweating for awhile. Gotta rethink this chainlink pattern. Glad he opted for the finger grooves.

We went through 6 different shooters today with it and only shot 500 rds. All using OEM Glock mags with various baseplates and stock baseplates. No issues at all. Everything fed and shot fine. Ammo today was Winchester USA9NATO 9mm 124gr FMJ.

Tomorrow night, my son and I will run 500 rounds through it. 300 rds of Federal 147gr FMJ and 200 rounds of Federal 147gr HST-JHP.

Just got home. Son and I put 300 rds of 147gr FMJ and 200 rds of 147gr JHP. No issues whatsoever. Other than a quick wipe with some CLP and a bore snake at the very beginning, it ran and ran. I'll give it a proper cleaning tomorrow and searching for a tool-less guide rod that fits it. I'm not fond of these two-piece ones that require a tool.

It shoots so well, we're not going to bother putting an optic on it. He's not used to optics anyway. I'm forced to use one at work so I've had practice.

I'm hoping they make a shorter version eventually. 3.25"-3.5" that takes Glock 19 mags. lol
Or I might just buy another Platy for myself. My XC should be here next month. Kind of regretting ordering it since I never carry anything that large. I ended up getting rid of my P and C2 because I never carried them either. I'm usually carrying some type of Glock since I'm issued a Glock.

everyone is different. I bought a P in 2019 and a C2 in 2020. Didn't like the way they felt. In 2021 we got optics forced on us at work so I got a C2 Duo with threaded barrel and an XC for fun.

Then I remembered why I didn't like them. The grip was just off. I probably should have sent the grips off to get stippling but I didn't. Got rid of them.
This was before their new tactical grip which someone said felt slimmer.

Anyways, ordered the Platy last year since I'm swimming in Glock mags and it fits and shoots great.

Waiting to see if they do a shorter barrel Platy so I can try the new grip. Also waiting for someone close to get the new Staccato CS so I can see how that feels.
