Platypus Acquired

Ever since I found out about this pistol it sounded interesting to me. After researching it and finding out that it is reliable, put together well, and built in my home state I decided to try one out.

Here are some photos as there are not too many good ones out there. I almost went with a 2 tone but after seeing all the crazy designs I decided to just go all black.

After initial inspection of fit and finish I am impressed. Racking the slide is super smooth and you do not feel the disconnector at all, the trigger breaks consistently at 2.4 lbs and the length is perfect, slide to frame fit is very good with minimal movement side to side, barrel lock up feels good and does not move when in battery. If I had to pick something to complain about it would be that the safety edges are somewhat sharp and could of used some dehorning. Grip feels perfect in my hand so I would not make any changes there.

I will give some feedback after I get it to the range and mount my delta point pro.
