Here is the article of what happened. He and I had grown up together and played hockey together our entire lives.. His name was Geno Clayton from Boardman, OH. About a year ago, he came to me and said "what do you think about me joining the Navy, and going Pre-SEAL" I told him that physically he could do anything, but mentally he needed to toughen up! Well here we are today, he proved me wrong, and made it through SEAL school and was just getting ready to start work.

The link is posted below and I will let you read the article for yourselves instead of me explaining the story, but please, I and everyone else already knows the safety rules for guns....

Prayers sent my friend, losing a friend is hard. Lost my best friend in 06'. There isn't a day that goes by that i don't think about him, and the sh!t we did together, all he would want is for me to live my life to the fullest and make what we experienced together count for something.

    That's horrible. What a tragedy.

Thoughts and prayers for the family and loved ones, and my deepest condolences to you, Bobby.

This really hammers home those gun-safety rules.

Thank you guys for all the comments! Since it has soaked in a bit, I am honestly not that surprised, he was a wild kid and always felt like he had something to prove, but it doesnt make it any easier. Its just so extremely unfair a man that had so much to give life was cut short. The lord does indeed work in extremely strange ways. He was an organ donor however and he was able to donate some body parts including eyes. I hope that it is a blessing in disguise for whoever benefits from his misfortune.
