Opening my last 5,000 box of primers. Check out the prices on the Box 😳
I would usually purchase 60,000 in Florida at the FIPT tournament which would get me by for about 7 months and I paid $18 for a thousand then.

Yep, remember those days.

I remember over the past 3 years saying well prices should normalize next year, this cant go on forever.......well looks like it can and this is the new normal unfortunately.

Just picked up another 5K for the price that I would have normally paid for 15-20K

I remember $10 a thousand back in the early 80's, primers were the least of the cost of reloading. Plentiful and cheap, just like I like my women.

I was just in my FFL today and watched another customer picked up a box of 1000 primers. I said pretty pricy huh ? They were $99, which seems to be the going rate around here. When they hit $69/1000 about a year ago I decided not to buy any because I figured the price would come back down. Guess I was wrong! I still have a fairly large stockpile that I bought at $39/1000.

I'm one of the lucky people that started shooting long ago when things were cheap, shot about 4-500 rounds every weekend, drop to about 200 now.

Primers were $7 / K , then went up to $11/ K when B Clinton got elected.
