PSA on the new Sig rifles

Bit by bit, I'm turning into one of those old guys who used to caution me against being an early adopter...

I think the Army is in for a surprise 🤦🏻‍♀️

I'm sure the A1 version will rectify all perceived shortcomings, then the rechambering to to a lighter, less bulky cartridge will take care of most of the real ones, and eventually they'll end up with a Next Gen rifle that weighs less than 8lbs naked, and has ammo light enough the average soldier can easily carry in excess of 200 rounds! Oh wait...

I wouldn't own a Sig unless it said "Made in W. Germany" on the slide.

6.8 has been in the works for a long time because of the need of more terminal performance. I dont think that's going anywhere.

sig is going through the same issues KAC and beretta had back in the day when their product went to absolute **** with the night vision and m110sass and suppressors.

I got lucky that my Cross seems to be fine, but between their LE issue issues and dod issues, you wont see me stepping up to a sig display case anytime soon. Theyre just cranking them out as fast as they can, and Sig qc/tolerances were slipping long before that.

i'll go ahead and 'fudd' myself: i miss the old sig.
