I may regret asking this. Lol.
I’d like to hear how y’all would feel if in my present predicament.
I’ll try my damndest to keep the other party unknown in hopes that it will get corrected.
AND HERE WE GO....
I have a DW in order from Keith that will be a matte blue. Since it will be a classic style pistol (A2) I wanted a classic look to my grips but still the function I’m used to.
I love Harrison carry groove grips. VZ was unwilling to cut custom ivory colored G10 if I asked Mr Harrison’s permission. Don’t blame them.
So the next step was to find someone to coat them.
I thought I found a company that would knock it out of the park.
So I contacted them.
This was their response:
So I ordered the grips from Mr Harrison. Had them shipped directly to the coating company. That was last week of February.
I get a message this past Monday from Mr Harrison asking if I knew why grips he sold me (invoice still in the box) had been shipped to him.
They coaters did the job then rather than confirm with me shipped them back to where they came from.
When i contacted the coater they said I had not filled out an order form from their website and didn’t know that was part of the process since I had communicated with them 100% via email. So...Mr Harrison graciously shipped them to me. On my dime, not the coater.
They arrived today.
Remember our conversation.
Remember the ivory picture examples I provided.
Remember they said they would mix the custom color.
To me they look like a mechanic did a brake job then handled white grips!
Did I not convey my wants properly?
