A few months ago my range was sponsoring "Springfield Days" with a factory rep on site with samples of most of their pistols to try out. I posted about it, all I can say is that I shot the Mil Spec Defender better than either of the Garrisons (blue and stainless). I almost bought one but the timing wasn't, and still isn't, right lol.
