So I finally got to run a good bit of rounds through my Delta Elite that was done by Nighthawk Custom.
Today is cleaning day so I broke it down for the first time and was surprised by a couple things. I noticed that the stainless Nighthawk slide stop is marked 9mm SS and the guide rod plug is plastic. This may be completely normal as I’m far from an expert and that’s why I’m asking here, is this normal and should I upgrade the guide rod plug.
The gun ran like a champ with both the 10mm barrel and the Jarvis .40 drop in barrel so this is strictly out of curiosity as the gun functions fine. Well it did not like the Wilson 10mm mags but I’ve read several complaints about Wilson’s 10mm mags so I didn’t count that as a negative against the gun.
I’m glad I noticed the slide stop because if that’s the right slide stop then I want to order another one from somewhere that is more low profile, this o e sticks out a bit far and doesn’t work well with certain holsters.
Thanks in advance for any info and here are a couple pics.
