Since I can't seem to sell my Remington R1 I have decided to go forward with my plans that I had when buying it. It's basically going to be a MEUSOC clone with a twist.

    -Wilson Flat Trigger
    -EB Grip Safety
-Wilson or EB sear, hammer, disc, thumb safety, etc. etc. etc.
    -stock sights, barrel, bushing
-probably do a MS housing with a lanyard loop.

I am going to fill the roll marks in so the slide is naked. Then it will get Cerakoted Graphite Black.

How it looks out of the box.

Something like this is what I'm shooting for (pun intended).

I picked the grips up today after work.

Should be a very cool project.

I want to do a similar project, down the road.

Damn you take good pictures Quack. Other than ordering series 80 parts is there anything I should know before getting started?

    I can't believe nobody bought that R1. :rolleyes2:

But,they DO look like a perfect candidate for a MEUSOC build.
