I'm trying to get rid of my Baer, and when that day comes I want something with a rail for home defense. I'm on a list for a SACS Pro Op but if that were to fall through due to me being so low on the list what would be the next best thing?

I'm thinking I'll probably go with a GCI, any input?

    Thanks.

Double Star. Brian likes his (non-railed) pretty well.

Which Baer model are you trying to sell?

GCI No Name or American Railed, or if you really liked you Baer why not an Ultimate Recon?

Honestly, I would take a look at Lou's Kimber Warrior (or any warrior) or an SA MC Op. If you want to go more expensive I vote GC American, although many of the shops make a nice railed 1911.

I would say SA MC Operator or a GCI American.

I like my railed NN a lot. 100% function, surgically accurate, smooth cycling, and very crisp trigger. Easy to recommend.

So far as I know, this is the only railed NN out there right now.....This is Carguy's. It came out awesome, in my opinion.

Just got home - found time to get 100 rounds downrange between work and Monday Night Football (that's 1700 total). Tomorrow I'll order dies from Dillon for my Square Deal B for .45ACP. Ordered shock buffs today from Brownells, as I believe this weapon will see a lot of ammunition.
Wish I could post pics, but Dave's are much clearer than mine (I'm photographically challenged I guess). Best I can say: It cycles
smoother and trigger breaks crisper each range visit. It's dirty and nasty, hopefully I'll have time to clean it during the game.
The shredders are great shooters, and not at all uncomfortable to carry. The straight 8 edge ledge clones work well, giving a good
flash sight picture. Dave performed a good service with this one.
Thanks for the nice comments. I'll be getting more like this soon.
