My Range Officer now has front strap checkering complements of Wilson Combat. The pics aren't the best so please forgive me.

Looks good Okie. :thumb: What LPI? I can't tell if it is 25, 30, or neither.

I've heard mixed things about these. How sharp are the points? Seems to be an economical alternative.

Nice Okie - how do they feel for you?

I ran one for awhile when I first got into 1911s on a Springer. I think the Pachmayer wrap-around checkered grips are a better alternative for ME.

I put the same thing on my kimber custom II target. I read allot of really bad reviews on it but for the price I said wtf and got it when I ordered some other stuff. I'm happy with it, it fit, hasn't moved allover like everyone said it would.

They seem to be a love it or hate it kind of thing. For $10.00, might as well try it out.

If you don't like them you are only out 10 bucks. I like this much better than skateboard tape:biggrin1:

You are very welcome my friend. If you order one get it from Brownells thir price is the same as Wilson but they are about 4 bucks cheaper on shipping:biggrin1:

I have them on 2 of my guns. They look a little cheezy but better than skateboard tape. Feels better too.

Took the RO shooting today, the front strap checkering was a huge success and didn't move a bit. I am happier than a pig in slop:thumb::biggrin1:
