Took the Carbonia repro and my SCG carry to the range today. I haven't shot as much the last 3 years and it shows.

1st targer is the carry at 25ft rapid fire 2 hand standing. 2nd is the same with the Carbonia. I do pretty well as long as I focus and don't push the shot to the left with my trigger pull.... View attachment 222669 20190214_144822.jpg 20190214_150129.jpg 20190214_150135.jpg

Sweet! Nothing like a good day at the range with a nice 1911!

    Pretty Colts.

I need to force myself to go to an indoor range. Too much snow to find my spent brass outside....

You put the bullets in the same place as the other gun. Hard to do. ;)

My favorite target with mine was 7 rounds I shot at 15 yards at an indoor range years ago. I had shot 4 rounds. Then a friend came by and yelled at me so I put the pistol down while I talked with him. Living in the SW my hands were dry so I put some lotion on them while I was talking with him. After he left I picked up the pistol and found out a couple things. First the dinky little sights were hard to get back on in the rather dark indoor range. Second I could feel the pistol moving in my hand, thus found out why the MSH became grooved.

Also the O1911, blue, or WMK ser. no. is hard to get a good picture of. Here is mine in the early morning sun on my back patio with my O1918, black, or WWI ser. no. pistol.
