RE: Video of the 1911 inner works

    Mods, I saw this excellent 3D rendering (in separate post), which shows clearly the interaction of the various trigger group parts in a 1911.

    It could be worth keeping it as a sticky in the Beginners section...

    Nice video, but I don't like the editorial comment at the beginning. Guns are not dangerous. Only the people wielding them can be dangerous.

    "guns are dangerous"?
    I don't think there was any need for that warning at the beginning.

    Automobiles kill more people than guns.
    Have you ever seen a car commercial start with "our vehicles are dangerous"?

    Unfortunately, there are people in this world that make it their business to find offense in everything, and complain about it, hence the "guns are dangerous" bit.
