Other than worrying about going through interior walls, the corbon DPX tested in this article looks promising. They even tested it from a 10" barrel.... Just right for my Pistol. I had thought I had read better results from the TAP bullets, but they were a bit worse in the Gel penetration.
There is one other round I'm thinking of too, the controlled chaos? but I forget what caliber and length barrel it works best out of. Might be 300blk only. Have to re-read the article on that one.
Looks like Hornady is making “critical defense” rounds for .223, .308 and 30 carbine now also. Ammo companies seem to be listening to consumers and getting us some anno we can use.
