I have a 1911 that I would like to have a BGS fitted to and have the frame refinished once the work is complete. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on who I might send it to. I'm comfortable enough in doing the work that would be required in fitting the new fire control parts. Just not grinding on the frame, especially since it was professionally built.

What frame is it? They have a jig for either the 220 or 250 radius. So that'll get you about 90-95% there. You'll just need to file down the last bit for a final fitting.

It's a Caspian frame. I already have the jig for the .250 and Wilson radius' and if it wasn't for the fact it was built by Ron Phillips I might try hacking on it myself.
