Having just received my new DW Vigil in Duty Treat, here is the latest recommended lubes as stated in the owners manual included with the gun.
For all of you who ask what is allowed other than FP10.

I have a love affair with FP-10, it's the best IMHO

I can totally agree. When you read the write up of the ingredients on the manufacturer brochure it’s hard to steer away from it. And if DW recommends it, that will be what I use in order to keep the warranty in good order.

Great info..and I agree. "Rem Oil" and "Hoppes" oil is really crap stuff.

I used to to use Weapon Shield on my DWs but changed to Lucas Extreme, both are excellent. Lucas really stays on the surface for extended period of time and never gets gummy or hard.

We 've used nothing but FP-10 on our DW's with no need seen to change. 95F down to-10F matches and no lube related failures.
