Jeremy Reid was kind enough to do a couple of tweaks to my Valor...

These are his pics, I don't have it in hand yet, but I am looking forward to getting it back and shooting the snot out of it.....Filthy pics of dirty hardcore use will be along shortly...

Working with Jeremy was very pleasant, very painless and very quick :) I sent it off 5 weeks ago and wasn't really expecting anything until after Christmas...

The Valor was one of two I picked up a couple of months ago, with an eye to using as a base to tweak with a few personal, mostly cosmetic, custom touches.
The first Valor I got had been very attractively refinished in Ionbond with polished flats so it was too nice to use as a base. I found the second one at a great price from a fella on The Hide, he'd added the extended mag release and gunKoted it black.
I couldn't make up my mind between having it bobtailed or "round butted". Jeremy suggested an "extreme round butt" and that's just something you don't say "no" to.....
    I really like the result.
    Work performed:
Flat top and serrate, single arrow
Flush cut, deep crown and polish barrel
Recess and flush cut supplied Harrison Slide Stop
Rework ejection flare and add live round relief
    Serrate rear of slide
Reblend grip safety and thumb safety
    "Extreme" Round Butt
    French Border
Fit and regulate front sight blank
    Glass bead finish

it will be shot, then possibly sent off for meloniting...

That is some sweet work. I'm glad I got on his list for a full build...if only it were done.

Very cool. I've been hearing good things about his work.

I like the blending of the thumb safety and grip safety. The round butt work is pretty interesting, too. One doesn't see too many on the 5" guns.

I like it. Looking forward to hearing more when you get it in hand! :thumb:

It was the stock DW safety which I think is an in house part. Originally, a rather "blocky" design, Mr Reid trimmed it back and rounded it some.

I don't believe so. I've seen their slides without, might have to call them if you were after one of their kits. I know there was a Berryhill build posted here that was from a WC kit and it didn't have FCS's.
