So, Let me say that I am being cheap here and trying to not spend any additional money right now. Due to the low cost of 9mm I have not been reloading it. However, I have the components and circumstances are driving me to start doing so. I have Dillon 38 Super dies for my 550 press and I am wondering if it would be possible to load 9mm with my 38 Super dies. Seems like I could just shorten up on the throw and it should work. Has anyone tried this? Once I am back to work I will get a proper set of 9mm dies, but for now I am trying to make out with what I have if I can. The Dillon conversion plate is 9mm/38 Super. However, I assume that with the longer shell where I might run into issue would be for crimping. Thoughts? Maybe I could just buy a crimping die...?
