For sale is a very clean example of a classic Remington shotgun. Made in 1979, but wouldn't know it by the looks. Does have a few marks, but blueing is good and no rust. Comes with original box and plug. Barrel is now a 26" Remchoke with twin beads. When people ask what is the ideal dove gun, this is it. 20 gauge, steel, and real wood. Very low round count. LOP 14.25”

    Looking for $750 shipped.

I had this exact model (not sure about the choke) handed down to me by my late father. Probably put at least 1500 rounds down the tube hunting dove, quail, squirrel, rabbit u name it, without a single hiccup. While in a coma after a bad car wreck in 2010 someone decided to break into my house as I was on life support and stole it along with a Glock 19, and a Ruger GP 100. I was not into shooting like I am now, but was tournament Bass fishing at the time and had 9 G-Loomis/Garcia Ambassador combos taken. All in all about $5K. Had to be someone I knew because they knew where the good stuff was hidden, which was not known to many and it was well hidden. Nothing has ever showed up at a pawn shop or anything in 10+ years. Left all the mediocre rods and reel combos. Pretty pathetic. Ive since invested in a safe. If I had the cash I would jump on this in a heartbeat.

I’ve got it’s synthetic twin brother and yes indeed, it is THE dove gun.
    Quail too.
    These are super sweet guns.

This is the original dove gun...vs the modern dove gun being the A400.

This is the equivalent of the 1911 of semi auto shotguns . The 1100 will be the reference for semi autos forever.

I had a chance to buy a light 20 as a kid and blew it. Someone’s needs to get this ! They really are all that and a bag of chips.
