This 1992 Vintage Remington is in very nice shape, fancy high gloss checkered BDL furniture, few scuffs in the receiver finish, couple light marks in the wood. These are a classic rimfire rifle, and rare in that they were designed to cycle Shorts longs and long rifle ammo.

My very first firearm was a used Speedmaster my father bought for me in the 70's. We lived in the Ozark foothills at the time, and he stopped at a small gas station along a small highway to get gas, When he came out, he had the rifle. It was like new, and cost $35. I put untold thousands of rounds through it, and never had a single malfunction. I sometimes even loaded combinations of shorts, longs and long rifle into the tube at the same time. And superbly accurate, too. I stupidly sold it to a friend back in '82. I have no use whatsoever for a .22 anymore, but I am very tempted by this.

Much like @Illinois Sucks, this was 1 of only 2 guns my old man had in the house and what I learned to shoot on. 100% identical to Karl's. Took more than a few varmints on the farm with it.

Still have this gun in the corner of my safe. A beautiful .22 for sure
