Hey, should have my new Remington 700 SPS tactical .223 after x-mas. I am putting on a Nikon Prostaff 4x12x40 scope and was wondering the best set up for mounts and rings. I would think a one piece base would be better? I was thinking of the EGW 0 MOA base and either the Burris 1" rings or the leupold quick detach. Wondering what your guys thoughts would be, I will only be shooting at 100 yards, so don't think I need the 15 or 20 MOA base. Would you go with low or med. rings & what options for the base?

Any help would be great, Thanks
    Mike

not sure on the Nikon, but with my SWFA SS i used the medium rings with the 15MOA base.

Go with EGW base but all you need for rings are low mount.
