I think the enhanced will help the brand quite a bit.

The new Remington, including this model just don't do it for me.

Has FO Front sight, 25 LPI rear serrations, front serrations, notched Kensight-style rear with no dots, supposedly only "non-stress" parts are MIM while the rest are forged, whatever that means. Ext. mag release and TS, beveled magwell and comes with 3 8-Round magazines. Seems well thought out.

Supposedly test fired 14 rounds before leaving the factory and accuracy std is 3.5 in @ 25 yards.

I think the fiber optic front sight will draw some customers at the local shops who aren't familiar with them.

It's going to give the RO a run. But still, I would get the RO over this.

It shouldnt unless they improved on the ones from SHOT. But then again, I didnt think there was anything special about the R1 either, but people are always buying them.

We have one at the local gun shop here. I personally don't care for its looks. But I handled in anyways and looked it over. The barrel throating and feed ramp polishing look quite good on it. I don't think the website picture does its finish any justice, because in the shop, the finish looked terrible to me.

Sorry, but IMHO the Springfied Range Officer is a better gun.
