Well, I like to specialize (I guess I feel like I spend less) and pre-pandemic I didn't even own a revolver and then out of "lock-down" boredom started to surf GB nightly and settled on starting a little collection of 38 special snubbies. Now, I'm up to five with bids on a sixth I see prices have increased about $150-200 per gun from when I bought some of these 100-120 days ago, I guess the gun buying surge is real and most of these older revolvers can be sent to CA which probably doesn't hurt sales either. My meager gathering includes this newly acquired Colt Cobra, super light with its alloy frame and it shot beautifully yesterday. A Colt detective which was the first one in my collection and it feel really good in the hand After I picked up the above Colt Detective of course I needed nickle/steel gun and was drawn to this S&W Model 60-2, as a ying to the black Colts yang Then I found this Ruger SP101 and got a really good deal on it and it shoots fantastic, if I was going to carry one for quick trips, this would be it. Lastly was this S&W Model 42, I never knew a revolver could have a grip safety and just had to have this little unique shooter for the emerging revolver collection. I'll have to say these are fun to shoot, way cheaper to collect than 1911's (at least where I'm playing) and I don't have to have drawers full of magazines. I can go to the range with several and one 50 round box of ammo and have some fun.
