One of the Williams Shooters Supply "first run" Ruger 4-5/8" 44 mag Blackhawks. These were made in 91 before they were a catalogued item. The shop had 3 of these, N.O.S., they all have great actions and much nicer grips then standard production guns. Also shown w Rob Hipp leather..

I have a SS 4 5/8" SBH too, but mine is newer than yours and came with plain wood with no figure whatsoever. It went to Jack Huntington for his grip frame mod and a set of bookmatched grips.

Anyway, with balls to the walls loads, those things can be real entertaining when they go off can't they. I've always found mine to be as vicious as my FA83 in 454.

It's nice to see a fine set of grips as the one's on your SBH. Is it the lighting or is that hammer blued?

You can’t beat that with a stick. It’s a fine looking heater.
