I should be picking up the Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 Mag. on Friday 01/25/19. I got a sweet deal from Bud's for $529.00. Bud's price now is $663.00!

Bobby Tyler of Tyler Gunworks just posted some pictures of an old three screw flat top that he worked his magic on including installing an OCTAGON BARREL! Now this is exactly what I was looking for as far as one of these behemoths goes. I will have Bobby crown the barrel, and set the trigger pull at 2.5-3.0 Lbs. and even port the barrel as I am not getting any younger. I will have to see what he can do about the front sight. New grips are a must.

Enjoy the pictures of the old flat top three screw.

    Very nice!

It pays to keep an eye on Bud’s if you are wanting something.

I have been wanting a Vaquero in .45 Colt. They were running $675 or so.

Checked one day and they were down to $525 and just like that one was on its way.

Yeah, the blued 38/357 Vaqueros I put on layaway jumped back up to $663 as well. Be sure to get us some pics when your SBH is all dressed up.

I will post pictures in a few months. I suspect that old steel colors better, but one always hopes for the best. This will be like peas and carrots with the new Winchester/Navy Arms 1892 .44 Mag rifle.
