    I have a 29-10 Classic that I'm wanting to sell. Gun is in great shape. I don't have wooden presentation case though.

    I'm asking 850.00 Shipped to your FFL. Must accept from private individual.

    I'm not so sure these newer -10s are pure walnut. I think they are laminate type stock.

    What time frame were these Made? Pinned barrel? Rounds sit flush in the cylinder?

    Here's a short video review of these newer "Classic" series 29-10 revolvers from S&W. But to answer you questions: recent manufacture (S&W 'reintroduced' the 'Classic' models), Nope, Yup - no recess.

    While these don't have the Pinned and Recessed they are in fact the strongest of the 29 series. So if you want an actual strong .44 mag this is ideal. If you want to be true to S&W and more collector minded, go for an older 29-2 or the likes.

    There were issues with the older 29’s not handling constant .44 mag loads. To remedy this S&W later started offering an “Endurance Package”. These newer Model 29’s have it. Here is a good read.

    It''s an N frame. They don't get much tougher than an N frame, from any year of manufacture.
