To help pay for some other purchases I am putting my Roper clone up for sale. Picked this up with a very low round count on it last year. Have put approx 300 rds through it. Great trigger, am amazing bluing and very accurate. It’s a work of art.

here is the original thread I started about it. https://www.1911addicts.com/threads/s-w-“roper”-clone-38-spl.74885/#post-1386903

From the original owner: Clone of a Model 14-5 "Roper" PPC revolver. It is built on a Model 19-5 square-butt frame (old style rear sight, not "drilled and tapped") with a 38 Special caliber cylinder and a four inch full lug barrel (S&W barrel customized by Clements, 1 in 16" twist rather than standard S&W 1 in 18" twist ... half way to Colt Python's 1 in 14" twist, also no caliber marking on barrel), smooth 5/16" wide combat trigger (polished but not contoured), 3/8" wide semi-target hammer, black patridge front sight and black blade adjustable rear sight. Revolver was built and re-blued (not fired since re-blue) by S&W factory-trained revolver armorer. Barrel was a S&W Model 17-6 factory full-lug four inch barrel before the re-bore. Was done about 10 years ago.

Great gun for those S&W freaks out there. PayPal FF preferred. $1050... now $950

Beautiful wheel gat. Who’s grips are on it?
I was told VZ doesn’t make them for square buts.
