6.5 inch or 4 inch?

S&W Model 29 44 Mag, 4" or 6.5" trying to decide

My LGS has a Dirty Harry 6.5" in the presentation box and I found a 4" model both are blue and new.

This is probably a gun I'll keep and not sell as I usually do. Between the two guns I like the 4" the most. But of the two, which one would probably be worth more years from now? I'm thinking not much if any. I can get either one for about the same price.

The 6.5 inch I'll leave in the safe and shoot occasionally, but the 4 inch I'd carry in rotation with other guns. The 4" would look sweet in a light brown holster from R Grizzle.

As I make this post I'm talking myself into the 4 inch. 😏

Nice thing is the ability to shoot 44 Special. And I need to start reloading myself. Sounds like getting supplies is about as tough as getting ammo, or worse.

And it seems like most everyone is liking the 4 in.

New Colt Anaconda...;)
Haha, I almost bought one used this past summer. The guy kept dragging his feet and by the time he decided he would sell it at a pretty good price btw I had changed my mind.

Like an Addict I want both. But I'm not a rich addict. So, looking like the 4in. Plus, I can carry and it gives me an excuse to get one of these holsters. And belt to match. R Grizzle.
