Awesome! I just skimmed a bit of analysis. This decision was not narrowly tailored. Written by Clarence Thomas, it looks to have everything we could have hoped for in it. He basically instructs the lower courts to interpret the 2A as it would have been commonly understood at the time of its writing. If this is followed, it will be difficult to justify most fun control laws. I am cautiously hopeful that it could have implications towards the long-overdue destruction of the NFA.
New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy is already having an "oh sh*t" moment. Sounds like his posse is going to try to game the language of the ruling and keep New Jersey the way it is. But, New Jersey 2A advocates are already celebrating and readying to bring legal cases against NJ and appeal them up to the SCOTUS if needed.
These state "rosters" are bull$hit too....locking guns out of states is obstruction as well. S&W screwed gun owners in Ma..The state AG crushes FFL's and large manufacturers via threats of legal strong arm actions ...no-one can afford it.
