Who makes the best sear and hammer pins? Looking for good tolerances regarding diameter and concentricity. Thanks.

Nearly all the pins for the 1911 made are made by one company in Missouri and private labeled by the rest of us.

Well that's discouraging, but thanks for the answer Joe. :)

    Hey Joe, what about EGW?

The sear pin that came with my EGW pinned ambi safety is the one I'm currently having issues with. It could be a one-off fluke. Or not. This is my first experience with their pins. The hammer pin is better BTW.

It may be time for some #35 HSS ground drill rod, but I haven't given up yet. :)

I do not know who makes theirs for sure, but I do know who makes mine and most everyoneelse, and it is not EGW.,
